Exhibits:

The annual juried show is usually held during the summer at varying venues and runs two to three weeks. The 2011 Annual Show was held at the National Watercolor Society building in San Pedro, which offered an exhibit space large enough to hang 100 paintings. Awards for the Annual Show include ribbons, cash prizes and gift/art supplies cards.

SBWS members have an opportunity to exhibit their artwork at the Torrance Katy Geissert Library. These shows are held several times a year and are not juried. For information about entering the exhibit, please contact Bill Wassenberg at wwassenberg@yahoo.com.

Members have also an opportunity to exhibit their work in the Armstrong Theatre Lobby. The exhibit changes on a bi-monthly basis and alternates between Torrance Art Guild artists and SBWS artists. For information to participate please contact Sue Schilling at sschilling@socal.rr.com or 310 371-5027.
